I am so jealous. I love Paris and I'm sure you will too. As long as you can speak French.
How long for?

Won't you need your Passport?
- tkmeister0
yup, i've got my passport. i've been to paris a couple of times before and i'll be visiting my friend there.
i used to have no fear going to countries where i don't speak their language. now i get this weird feeling.
any good recommendations?

Visit the Moulin Rouge and bring back pictures!!! Or just bring back pictures of hottt things, which are quite abundant in Paris.
- tkmeister0
should i just take pictures of hot french girls? would that help, jaline?
- JazX0
tkmeister, just go and see the life, don't worry about trying to see too much, just eat, drink and find some interesting life forms.

if you need to escape the weather, i highly recommend the tour of the sewers.
there is also a venue called the house of rock? or house of ... something. mates of state played there when i was in paris. the place is on a street off of roosevelt if i'm not mistaken.
my favourite thing about paris was the public fountains. find one and sit for a while with your feet in the water.

I am French, currently working in New York. One of my best friend who is English teacher lives in Paris and I think he will be pleased to make you discover the city if you want...

yeah, this time, i am not doing anything touristy. i am just gonna chill and basically hang out. it'll be a long weekend trip and i don't wanna plan too much. i am not much of travel planner so i am gonna go with the flow.
i've been to pretty much all the museums there before.
i kinda wanna take a day trip to a country side where i can enjoy the landscape and good wine.
jaline, if you can come down to nyc by tomorrow, i'll fit you in my luggage.
- Jaline0
haha, omg, i bet i can fit in there too.
- tkmeister0
thanks ideal,
my good friend lives in paris and she's gonna show me around. she's been living there for like 2yrs now. since this is such a short trip, i'll pass your offer. but regardless, if you are in new york, we should grab a drink or two.cheers!

nice tk, I am envious of you..
- ideal0
with pleasure.
I am in NYC for almost 3 months and due to my tourist visa, I will have to go back in France on the beginning of June but I have in mind to come back in August.

(May 11 05, 08:09)I was going to advise that, that's what i do when I go to Italy, so much betterm cleaner and the people are nicer
- tkmeister0
i know, JazX, italian country side is so picturesque. i like tuscany. good wine, amazing food. and those historic hill towns are so beautiful. much more relaxed, people are nice, etc.
i have to plan to go to italy soon. italy is one of my faborite destinations.

this looks interesting, but i can't read french. argh!

You could probably get out to Giverny and Versailles; they're not too far and they're steeped in French countryside. I'm sure there's day trips and such like available.
Failing that, jump on Eurostar and come over to London, it's only 2 hours!
- tkmeister0
i've been to Giverny and Versailles before... so i kinda wanna explore other places. oh what the hell, i could just rent a car and drive around...
going to london is def not an option!
- JazX0
man tk, you and I have a lot in common then. That countryside is sick nice and the women, food and wine, forgettabuddit
