that reminds me...the end of last year, before i went on christmas break, i cleaned up my desk just because it felt like a right thing to do.
i returned back to work, my desk area was spotless clean, not just organized, but clean.
for some reason, i couldn't focus and wasn't really productive...until i went on a rampage to make a mess again.
now i feel better in my cube.
word of advice: don't clean, just don't.

Why don't they make a cheeseburger flavored Jello or something?

Put your stapler in jell-o.
It's not gonna help you tidy up but it'll be fun!

I make little jotters out of scrap paper for notes'n'stuff and my desk is now under a sea of them without hope for air.
I can't find my studio schedule because it's somewhere in the big pile of studio schedules that I can't be arsed to clear up.
I feel your pain Vb :\

Maybe u can get one of those organizer things from Staples. The guys on the Apprentice show invented it. It's this huge caddy that you pile all your things into and it spins around. They did a demo on the show and some guy piled his whole desk inside in of them and in just a minute or so his whole work space was all neat.

The meesing part is passive, the cleaning part is an active choice. That's why it seems like that.
Fuck it. Leave it like that. Clean like 3 times a year. You'll save like 50 hours that you can exchange for drinking and sleeping time
