I'm using some Action Scripts created by Robert Penner to control the properties of my MovieClips in Flash MX eg:
Math.easeInQuart = function (t, b, c, d) {
return c*(t/=d)*t*t*t + b;
};
(published as Flash Player 6 AS 01). Whenever I export my movie as flash seven AS 0.2 My movie throws up the following error
**Error** Scene=load, layer=Actions, frame=1:Line 70: There is no property with the name 'easeInQuart'.
Math.easeInQuart = function (t, b, c, d) {
Does anyone have any ideas how I can change these functions to work with Flash 7?
Thanks.

there are AS2.0 versions of his equations. check his site.
AS2.0 is very strict regarding code syntax.
For example, you cannot extend built-in classes like Math.
A workaround is to create alternative classes like Math2, String2, etc...

Check out the Movie Tweening component. It will work with MX or MX 2004. The documentation is great also.
Makes ME look great with Action Script.
