I was taking some photos of a construction site last week and I saw a plane traveling away from me. There was a very straight, dark line that was ahead of it. As it the plane continued, the line got wider and slowly dissapeard. I thought it had something to do with the sun, like similar to an eclipse, but that doesn't seem like the best answer... any ideas? One guy told me that the plane was traveling in a contrail of another plane. I think the dark line is too straight to be a contrail as you can see the other contrails are misshapen, and white, not dark...

a trail from another plane?
- rabattski0
it's weird though.

that dark line is the future.

the crack of earth's sky ass?

maybe God's dog dragged it's butt there and that's the poo stain.
gross, that plane was flying in doggie poop.
- rabattski0
gruntt, it also could be part from a timeline's you are here arrow from a parallel univers?

you're losing your edge, kOna
- gruntt0
it's kona's edge.

Probably burned solids from the plane. Time for a tune-up.

its a laser.

I don't think it's a trail from another plane because it's so straight and it is dark, unlike the other two plain trails (contrails) that show up in the shots.

i never had one.

It also can't be anything physical from the plane since the plane itself hasn't been there yet... note that it is traveling away from me (optically: toward the ground)

either a fissure in time-space or simply that plain's fate...
anyway, do you have any other pictures taken at that moment. maybe it's something in the lens?
- rabattski0
or on the lense? possible.
- Jaline0
It's the trail that a jet engine left. The one that crashed through Donnie Darko's bedroom.
It's either that or a UFO.
Obviously.
- zoiks0
Yes I have other pictures that show nothing on the lense. I will post if there are skeptiks

wheres the sun in relation to the plane?
- CaP0
could be the refraction of the plane's trail toward your lens... but i doubt it...

The sun seemed to be diriectly behind the plane. That is why I suspected and eclipse-liek phenom, but that really doens't make sense to me... How can a shadow be projected through the atmosphere?
