I have some nice design books, but I don't think they are in the same league to be considered rare.

omg nice rasko! a friend of mine got quite a few as well.
he even made a huge graff of over 8 ft. high as a tribute to vaughn.

I collect old books, maybe they're rare but in horrible condition so not worth anything. I just like looking through them. I just bought this illustrated book on phrenology and physiognomy from 1890.

I don't (atleast I think) have rare books, but I am the proud owner of some Japanse Grafik books from '90's.

i have a huge collection of rare and antique books (none design related, however, unless you count ones i bought for their etchings). among my favorites are:
a first edition copy of oscar wilde's "salome", with original etchings by aubrey beardsley
a book on magic and witchcraft printed in the 1700s
a first edition copy of "requiem for a dream", signed by hubert selby, jr weeks before his death

well a few years ago I used it as a cutting mat.
and I had a load of others that I stole from college that I just threw away. what a dumbass, its tough being a minimalist lol

I would like to start a rare/old book collection. I am also interested in starting a tin type photography collection (1800s type stuff).

Thats my booklist now as it stands. Most of them are not too hard that hard to find, maybe one day they will be lol. No money for ultra rare books on a student budget.
If anyone knows some good used book stores downtown Toronto, let me know :)
