I had a party, I recall. I just depends on how big of a deal you want to make out of it.
Don't do the lameo thing and go out the night before you turn 21 and then try to get into a bar or club to drink at like 12:30am. I know someone who tried to do that.

21.... let me think... I was at uni, so probably got wankered. It was in 2000 so I will have started the day by getting quickly drunk while watching England beat the germans in Euro 2000. gets a bit hazy after that.
I can recomend Long Legs Strip bar in Manchester though. great night out.

I literally hid on my 21st because I had a great fake ID from 17 on anyway and was nototious for torturing my friends on their days of reckoning.

i had a house party, filled the bath with ice and beer, smoked a lot of weed and ended up playing pictionary of all things. one guy ran into the garden after freaking out and almost drowned in the pond. I would do something which doesn't require you doing any cleaning the next day.
