Twin who spoke at SP
http://www.atwinthing.com/had an example of this camera that could shoot up to 150,000 FPS !!
they had one example that was way less than that, ..where there was a balloon filled with water and a scalpal was dropped on to it in slow-mo
when the scalpal hit the balloon you could still see the water in the shape of a baloon even tho it had burst, absolutely amazing
I wish I had a quicktime of it or knew what the camera was
apparantly the guy who invented it has been approached by NASA and other large US companies for Missile testing etc.
yea

I don't want to brag but if I could get my camera to capture movements as fast as my eyes I'd be set, and nasa wouldn't have shit on me, because testing bomb's ain't playing nice, said Simon.

Your not braging, I agree, and others have tried it with great success.
There used to be a site that teaches you how to do this on your own , it's called B2C technology (Brain to Camera for us layman).
So basically, you cut a small slice in your temple, about 1/2 inch deep, and you buy the interface and wires from the website... I didnt read through so I cant tell you the step by step, but you basically shove this thing in the incision and then sow it up. The kit comes with a little IPOD storage/remote thingy and you just fiddle with it to have it record and what not. Supposedly, this is the same technology they use to film the Matrix effect (when you spin around an object making it look 3d).
i say it's DOPE. and you can get the parts for cheap at radio shack.

This is a good place to start learning: http://courses.help.com/
To the lower right click on "Digital Video Workshop".
You have to sign up for it (it’s free). The workshop takes you through all the filmmaking basics. Very easy very fun.IMDB has a glossary of all the filmmaking terms.
http://indie.imdb.com/Glossary/As for what software to use, I say Adobe Premiere. Or if you want something a little cheaper and basic Ulead’s Movie Studio Pro is good.
