well i'm on day 13 and it seems to be getting easier.
i have passed several tests without smoking:
i got drunk.
i worked with tools.
i went on a road trip.rumor has it that 21 days is magic number.
nicotene gum for emergencies has been my lifeline.

i'm not alone in this. it seems a lot of folks on NT have recently quit. good luck to all.

i'm afraid i'm a smoking once again.
i made it 22 days.
that's my personal best so I'm proud of that but I will go about it differently next time.

i agree with jazX but i also agree with myself, i always felt there was no greater feeling than smoking cigs, and til this daay i hold that same feeling.
its been over 1 year for me and i feel great...oh yeh i havent smoked buddah in 3 days!!!

funny enough, my girlfriend and i quit smoking two days ago. from my understanding the first big hump is 72 hours after your last ciggie. tomorrow morning is our first hump (and it's the weekend too).

T1MMY once yyou receive your sense of taste and smell back you will just hate the utter gross smell of cigs. at least that is what happened to me, i smoked heavily for 17 years 3 packs on a average on any given day.

there are several "humps." I was told that the magic number was 21 days. Day 22 i went to the store and bought me some smokes. :\
