Ive used it now and again. it has it's place.
Personally I dont think you can beat helvetica rounded for that 'fun' typeface

i used to be against Times New Roman for the longest time. And then, for that very reason I suppose, I started to really like it and use it for everything!

like someone mentioned, I don't get why people slate fonts. Comic sans came out of the 8bit computing days with mac screens about the size of PDAs. It looked great back then, so different.
I challenge anyone to create a font that gets as much usage

I'm sick of people bagging on Helvetica, don't use it or shut up. People always have and will use the bloody font.
Go choke on a serif!
