dunno, yeah i could be bitching but in amsterdam it's always the same story over and over again. if a new place opens up within no time it's in all the magazines and in no time it's flooded with soapies and within no time it's annoying as hell.
maybe it's just that amsterdam is so damn small.

i visit amsterdam quite often - never had a bad time there, but i'm always happy to be on the train back home. man, that small city is so floating on tourists, horrible.rotterdam imo is a real dutch city. much more to see if you're into design/architecture/photography.
enough space to walk your walk, beautiful riverside, seaguls, the dieselsmell of shipengines,

eat mushrooms and go to the Van Gogh museum. Then walk around in circles in a park for 5 hours. That's what I did and it was fantastic.
