Hello PVN.
I´m going to Amsterdam for the first time next week, anyone got any suggestions where to go. Or something fun happening? Drinks? Whatever?
I´ll be there from tuesday ´til saturday..

Don't meet some dude named vburo, he'll jack you up good like. You might be in a drain with your end upwards before the night is through.

I´ll have an eye open Jaz, sounds like you had a good time..
I´ll be going with people from school. Any good galleries etc to visit? We´ll have to find some good spots for beers as well. Will be staying at Hans Brinker.

With a select group of favorite classmates, visit the Rietveldt Academie (local art/design college) stoned on spacecake.

3. cheech and chongs (on the outskirts of the city)
4. sample the same name pot from every cafe. then mix it up for a large cone.
5. eat some hash as it will give you a very different body high.
5. get some keif and savour it.
6. do not waste your money on the pot museum.
7. heineken museum gives free beer.
8. make sure yoou go back to amsterdam during the QUEENS DAY FESTIVAL. its by far hands down the greatest smoke out party on the planet, the next best party is the LOVE PARADE in germany!oh yeh and eat lots of fresh 'wet' mushrooms, these caan be purchased in any of the very few magic shops scattered thru the city...make sure they are wet and fresh.
yo uwill trip for hours and probably laff uncon trolably for hours! maybe give you a happ[y concussion!!!i envy you! io havent been to the dam in a few years. i miss it!

Kind of stupid not to go during the Queens Day festivities, but I can´t miss "Visuelt", a seminary with lectures by (among others) Folkert and HC Erikson.
I guess Folkert´s bummed aswell missing Queens Day..

Hans Brinker Hotel.. oh the memories, i stayed there for a week back in 99, they have a crappy bar at the basement,
but you should go smoke some weed, do some prostitutes and watch some live sex shows... that all i did for a week and i had the time of ma life..

Amsterdam is nice!...for a night.
then go to Rotterdam, which has the best museums, exhibitions and a few wicked nightclubs!
i always wonder why Rotterdam is still underrated with foreigners..

the is a museum in a little town outside amsterdam, forgot the name of it, took a trian there to see a real midget eskimo doll or something.. anyone know what i'm talking about.. i was so stoned going there i hardly remember anything of it...
the museum had lots of colorful rock as well .. and sceince stuff too...

one of the most important things to remember as a foreigner, if you are planning on going to amsterdam during Queens Day Festival...be sure to book a hotel many weeks in advance as thre are per-made signs stating there are no vacancies anywhere in every direction for 20 miles...
another majopr plus to remember on queens day is to wear the colour orange...you will receive free pot everywhere!!!
oh yeh big cargo pants pockets for all the bags you can carry!

R'dam has had its best time. Amsterdam is back with some great clubs and the museums still are the best you can get.
Go to club 11, it's nice, I go there a lot.
For museums apart from the ordinary I would recommend FOAM:

http://www.montevideo.nl/en/inde…and last but not least, drink a coffee in "de pijp" and do some shopping outside the main shopping streets. Here you will find less tourists and its much nicer.
