Wow - some people are so aggressive! Don't you have anything better to do than start your Sunday with insults & unproductive criticism?
I'm personally aware that the logo went through many stages. No, it wasn't just a sperm slapped down in front of some nice font. This is one solution after many months of play. I think it is fun & appealing to his particular demographic.
Perhaps you all deserve more explanation - Although I have no idea why the concept of a designer's brain as being fertile, or budding with ideas, is so confusing or "lame" as someone put it. I think it's a clever alternative to what you traditionally think of when you hear the words "fresh idea".
I think the mark is well put together - nothing visually "off" or "wrong" about it. Nice going. Definitely #3 is your strongest.

that was nicely typed, however at the end of the day, it is sperm on a shirt, and it will be taken ways the artist never intended.

and if it is a budding flower, the satement referring to it looking wilted is a very good point

It's not exactly cum on a shirt, Version3. It's way more representative than that. C'mon - you're a designer. "Think smarter."
And it is a budd, before it even begins to bloom. It's not a wilted flower.

but it is also our job to know how people will react in the general public
i'm fairly sure that shirt wouldn't be allowed in schools
some good designs are bad by mistake, no matter how much effort was put into it
like the childrens assistance logo that looks like an adult forcing fellatio out of a child

Version 3, I am pretty sure a small run shirt company from my apartment is not going to end up on some kids in a school.
It is for my friends around town, at an art school, where people have an open mind and like to be creative.

At the end of the day its a logo with a sperm for the F. Why do you need the concept, surely its pretty obvious.

more power to ya man. i know exactly where you are coming from, and i personlly wouldnt give two shits what someone on a forum said about my design before i printed it either.
the lines are smooth and it flows
honestly, i dont think i would wear it unless i knew you as your friends do so it wont be a problem.
you will probably have people ask you where you got it
as far as a crit on the design as i have not yet given one, the only thing i don't like is how you have the background of clothing in the oval
if it goes to print, i say ditch the word clothing all together

I like the third one as well, but I think I would like it better without 'Clothing'. The main Fertile type is super solid - well done. Leave it alone and it will be more powerful.
