zoloft vacation

True story a little while ago, I went to the doctor, because I had a spider bite on my leg. The fucker proscribed me Zoloft. For a Spider Bite! Now maybe I’m a bit of hypochondriac, and i think that was his reasoning for the proscription. But with all those medical commercials on TV, I can't help but be freaked out about getting some disorder. So later I hear that Drug Reps give vacations if the doctor proscribes so many “Zoloft, Prozac, fucking Viagra. I don’t think doctors need to be getting incentive on drug proscribing, but that’s just me. Does anyone know if thats true?

i used to take accutane...when i went in for my first appointment, the doctor proudly declared that she had put 6 other people on accutane that day.
i wouldn't at all be suprised if drug companies were adding incentives to prescribe certain medications...

yes it's true, i have seen many consumer documentaries about this. they do get insentives for giving out medication, like trips to hawaii in the guise of a "conference". it's total bullshit.

Although i wish Vicodin would offer the same incentives. :)

I worked with a girl who was trying to get off of zoloft.
you would not believe the side effects she got when tryng to kick... weird weird side effects, that last for months --> years
stay away.

a buddy of mine who's 40 went to the doc. his mojo was a bit off. more it was all in his brain but whatever.
the doc gave him a years supply of cialis just for the fuck of it.
i'm not kidding.
he showed me. he gave him 2 boxes of the 'samples' he's supposed to give out to men who may actually need it. just gave him both boxes.
i told him to sell the shit on ebay.

i was on zoloft for sometime. got off it quick cause it was making me nauseous.

I said fuck it, and tried it. I was sleepy all the time, and maybe even more fucked then I normally was.
And this may or may not have had anything to do with the drug. But i felt so uninspired to design it was unbelievable. So I got off it quick and went back to my self medication, weed and alcohol.

did you tell him that this spider bite was the last straw, and you can't handle the pressure?
maybe the doctor thought you were breaking out in hives from your social anxiety?
