i'm not a huge fan of wacoms - does anyone make a mouse with pressure sensitive buttons? (google didnt come up with anything, but i thought maybe someone here knows a secret)

maybe you could get one of those force-feedback joysticks to work?
then you could 'feel' the work.

how would this be better than a stylus? Is it the stylus you dont like or the tablet? Do you mean a non-pen-like input device that has some pen-like qualities or what? (what are you trying to do?) why do I have so many questions?

give me a job where I have to answer questions with a point to 'em I'll show you how quick you can make up your own mind before getting insluted. or I can do it like mom and dad, ask your father.
ask your mother,
I've master the game.

yeah i prefer using a mouse to a stylus for most things. i just want a plain two button mouse but i want the left button to be pressure sensitive (you know, so you can set pressure to opacity, etc in PS and AE). seems like someone should make one.
(and no i dont want it to vibrate)

you need a mouse sensitive piece to use photoshop, what is that? are you a photoshop wigger or what the hell would you want a mouse to do that unless for FPS.
stfu.

but if this is for brush strokes, sketching, isnt a pen a way better input device (designed for drawing) than a mouse (designed for pointing)? (once you get used to it)
Or what sort of stuff are you doing? I know if you are switching between tasks often you may want an all-in-one device rather than switching between a pen and a mouse...
I do wonder if there could be a use for pressure sensitive buttons...like a 'tentative squeeze' of a button on a web page could have a different effect to a sharp tap...

ribit:
i've been doing motion work lately, titles and such, and i like using the stylus in photoshop with opacity variable for making mattes/etc, but switching back and forth to after effects seems tedious switching over to the mouse. not a big deal just thought i'd see if anyone knew of anything...

how about a little chip in my brain recording what I see as fast as I do, and whit a little bluetooth capabilities with a ID only responsive to my plasma TV where the keyboard is also imaginary. GOD DAMNIT! It's about time I get my toys santa.
I don't even own a plasma tv, time to put out the blueprints to robbing a bank.
