when i was young there was this kid book of 7 chinese wwarrior brothers, eacvh with a different ability, one of them could suck up all the water in all the oceans, his head grew to immense proportions and his body was tiny like all the water stayed in his mouth...
the power of persuasian is very easy and can be done a billion ways...like make use of a nakked chick illusion!
come up with 50 mini sketches of each thumbnail idea...the nanarrow it down to the most sensational, the most powerful, the worst, the best, the incredible, the fantastic, the amazing, the cunning, the original, the most creative...aand so on.
make sure you do 50 sketches in 10 minutes.
and go!

yes and no..its a way to reach the right side of your brain to the creative side faster, so when you are actually starting the real assignment you will fully powered up, kinda like raising your heart rate before a tremendous exercise routine.
it was something done du8ring school one of my professors would have us do before begininng any exercise...
so if you like ice head, then come up with 50 variations of the ice man, then break it down using that list i gave b5 as a template for you final thumbnail pre-sketches!
