Nice work indeed - good to see a portfolio without too much fluff ;)
My only suggestion is to perhaps make the entry screen a little more exciting. You have some nice work - bring some it to the front of the site with a 'feature project' section or something. I'm not a real big fan of the text there at the moment - making a point that it's the first portfolio you've actually finished - makes you sound lazy or don't finish things off, which we know isn't true from all your nice work :)

the only thing that stood out work wise, was that "lafallo" ends up looking like "gafallo" or "jafallo"

i think its great, its simple and easy to use, and does not look like 100's of trandy-helvitica folio site.. poping up like SARS latey.. yes simple is good... but when everyone's folio site start to look the same, i don't think its a good thing.
one thing i do like to you to try is: put the work title and "view large" on the right side insted of left, this will put all GUI in a close proximity.

i like the design, but not so sure about the personal info and some home page copy. if you are using this to get more projects, maybe it's better to keep it all professional and less personal? but that's just my opinion.

hey guys thanks for all the kind words, I really appreciate every compliment.
And thanks for the advice about the home page, that page now is just kind of a holder until I think of something graphically enticing to go there, but doesnt throw off the vibe of the site.
