God I LOVE Quark! Never tried ID, never had a reason to make the switch...except for the fact that I hate the Quark's policies on upgrades etc.

InDesign has way better typographic control than quark

you can even cut and paste vector art from freehand directly into native InDesign vectors-great for logos, etc that you may want to manipulate directly in the final layout
