i'd pay up to 400 bucks for it.
if you want a killer rpg, get untold legends. it's in the same vein as baldur's gate and champions of norrath. character customization is extensive, it's multiplayer, the story is good, and it has 107 (!) levels, all of which feature randomly generated maps so the replay value is immense.
if you don't like the glossiness of the screen, and/or are worried about scratches, i highly reccommend the pelican screen protector. http://www.consolesource.com/eco…
it's a thin, stiff adhesive plastic thing that you place over the image area of the screen. it's matte, so it reduces glare, and no fingerprints show up on it at all.

I really, really wish memory sticks were cheaper. $200 for a 1gb one on ebay is a bit much.
I'm also wanting some better games. I want a good, non-cheesey adventure or rpg game that I can get attached to.

scarabin, I dunno, it got a 6.9 on gamespot. Do you have Untold Legends? If I am not a die-hard RPG fan will I enjoy the story and scenery and fighting?
I need to pick up Lumines sometime. That is a given. I've never played a Tony Hawk game before, I don't know why, but I may try out THUG for this thing.

I'll also be interested to see how Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII, that spinoff thing, is going to turn out. Supposed to be a good mix of RPG and action from Square Enix...we'll see.

wipeout: purelumines is a must, metal gear solid was a big disappoinment to me because the card system drags even the tiniest of actions out into a ten-minute boring process (and why would you do that on a handheld system when a play session adds up to minutes instead of hours like on a ps2?), i do love unold legends (the only flaw in it i've been able to find is that when you load a level it has you facing a random direction on the map and i like the map to always be fixed), and wipeout as many have said is breathtaking in terms of graphics and also has the plus of the hackable web browser, which i'm currently in the process of doing.

scarabin, in case you didn't know, you can set your PrimaryDNS in the connection settings (after you switch to manual DNS) to this:

mg acid is more of a strategy based game. when if first played it, i hated it because there's a learning curve, but after i began to understand the game, it kinda sucked me in. it's pretty slow paced too so you have to be patient as getting from one floor to another takes a while. it's also frustrating when the enemy seems to take multiple turns to your 1 turn forcing you to think your moves through before executing them - like chess. also, the story is boring. just my take. read gamespot for a more in depth review.

hmmmm... i'll just get mgs3 for my ps2 then..
wipeout was the very first game i got for the first playstation.. i must have played it for 4 months 24/7 if you add up the hours
so if it's as good as you say it sounds like i'm getting myself a psp after all....
