how do you override before and after paragraph spacing on a paragraph without defining a whole new style? (as you can with hypenation, etc)

through the paragraph window/menu? always works for me.

yes, the paragraph window.

Same here. Even with the style set you can modify it. Especially nice if you keep kerning on optical.
Anyone know how to replace every instance of a color without deleting the swatch and replacing it?

ah-- the little arrow thingie--thanks

mg33, have you tried duplicating the swatch and then deleting the orginal? or is that what you mean by replacing?
Or, if you're in CS (can't remember if it was in 2.0) in your swatches flyout, go to Ink Manager. If you click on a color and then choose it's ink alias. Is that what you want?

I'll have to try the second one, mayo. I do have CS.
I'm working with this one color that someone here didn't want, so I'm looking at alternatives and wish I could just go Presto!Chango! and change every instance of that color without deleting the swatch (because it may still be used)

Try the Ink Manager. That should do it.

why don't you go ahead and deleat it? i mean you know the PMS# right? if you need to you can always add it back, or make the change to a copy of the file?
