  mg33, have you tried duplicating the swatch and then deleting the orginal? or is that what you mean by replacing?

  Or, if you're in CS (can't remember if it was in 2.0) in your swatches flyout, go to Ink Manager. If you click on a color and then choose it's ink alias. Is that what you want?
