...so, More on the tales of my professorial crush.
End of the semester is a matter of weeks away. Yay!
And we've actually been hanging out a lot in separate groups that meet up at random LA art shows and the like. Not to mention I managed to get a really cool group together to see HG2G that included my prof. and a buddy of his. Almost every weekend I get to hand with him. It rocks.
...But I'm beginning to feel like a major dork because he's so damned interesting, outrageously kooky, and has sooo many friends with crazy hook ups (one co-owns a restaurant with Ashton Kutcher & Sean Astin--what the hell?), and here I am, duller than a plastic butter knife with not so many hook-ups... mostly 'cause I don't keep in contact well. Bad me.
Eh, I just think I can't compete, but hey, I've acquainted quite a few of his friends now, have all his info, and we DID just go out to that Ashton Kutcher/Hobbit co-owned restaurant/bar/club in a small group & all in the same car. Maybe that counts for something.....initiation. Hell yeah.
OK, shutting up...for now, anyway.

that being said - love shouldn't feel like a competition
this sounds like its going to end up nowhere as you need to be in the situation as more of an equal
however if you're looking for some lovin' on the side and he's not married, maybe this could be it

I do have an "in" in a sense... And he definitely doesn't have chicks all over him. Woo hoo!
I just feel like a dork really. ;^P

say something like "you can teach a woman how to draw, but you can't teach a woman how to love..." then start to make out with him while the class is watching, you guys will get such an adrenilne rush.

Or you could just hang with him more and drop little clues as to how you want to be emotionally and intimately (right?) involved with him. If he still doesn't get it, you'll have to take some drastic measures, as randoman noted.
I'm not sure about whether or not this will end up good (b/c you never know) but I suppose it's worth delving into.
