Ugh...I'm so grossed out by the self-congratulatory posts on this white-sticky message board. Design is such a one-handed, self-serving, ego-trip. When have you ever completed a design project and not feverishly clicked "send" in order to retrieve some validation on a PDF you've sent off with the "golden" idea in tow!!!

I hope it isnt filling the holes in a font or using a 'wooden' background over which you display the contents of your photogrpahy portfolio, which tween exponentially to size and are accompanied by Gerogia titling, with an obsure and unpronouncable swedish domain.

design is the interface between one ego and another.
My ego designed that sentence from wordules using my proprietory TalkMX linguistic authoring tool, compiled it and sent the output to my fingers, at which point technology took over.
By ego, in this case, I mean the conciously reasoning part of my mind.
If by ego, you are referring to the concept of arrogance and arrogant agrandising behavioral displays, then I agree. But only to help you look nearly as clever as I am.:P
