  design is the interface between one ego and another.
  My ego designed that sentence from wordules using my proprietory TalkMX linguistic authoring tool, compiled it and sent the output to my fingers, at which point technology took over.
  By ego, in this case, I mean the conciously reasoning part of my mind.
  If by ego, you are referring to the concept of arrogance and arrogant agrandising behavioral displays, then I agree. But only to help you look nearly as clever as I am.
