prospect park is terrific. and, actually, all my friends from uni (in pdx) live around there. so if you're not wanting to replicate the clinton st. vibe, you may want to stay away. how long have you been in puddletown? why are you leaving?

my biggest problem with living in jersey is if you want to take a taxi home no matter how close you are to home b/c you have to go thru a tunnel it will cost you $40 minimum. brooklyn has much better vibe in my opinion if you can't afford manhattan.
and i've lived in jc, manhattan as well. also i live in park slope where every single subway is available so no matter where you are you can get home. listen to woody- be very careful w/ apt's in this city. if you get a bad vibe from someone listen to your gut.

o i know taratara - it sucks live liek literally outside the lincoln tunnel & they wont go for less tahn 40 -its liek 5 miles from midtown

As long as you can afford to pay manhattan rent while your stay, just live it up for 6months.
for everything else, there's always mastercard.
