photoshop to illustrator

  we made a package in photoshop but when we export it to illustrator there is a 3mm difference.does anyone know what the problem could be..pixels to vectors maybe?and more important does anyone have a solution?thanxxx in advance.

  photoshop more or less guesses at actual dimentions.

  9 times out of ten an 300ppi image brought into illustrator will be like 299.9 ppi when placed.

  just resize in illustrator if it's bit off. it doesn't make a whole lot of difference whether it's 301 or 299.
