My client needed a CD to distribute that contained files for download.
So we created something in Flash made a projector put it on CD and now clicking the links to download the files doesn' t work for mozilla and only sometimes for IE.
Is there any way to allow the user to click the link and immediately get a "save as" box to begin download.Currently we are using the get url command to do this
Any help is appreciated.

You might want to bite the bullet and buy a third party tool for that so you are not so dependent on the user environment. You could also just zip the files that need to be downloaded as a quick fix.

this is hindsight i guess, but couldn't you have just put the files on the cd itself? maybe not if they were to large though i guess.

The files are on the CD they are just being ignored by the mozilla browser and only pulling up occasianally with IE.
All mozilla does is open a blank browser window.
