here at work on my pc i use ad-aware se personal combined with spybot search and destroy.
both of those used together wipe that shit clean.

i have no fucking idea cause i don't go to any of that stuff here at work, yet for some reason every week or so when i run them i have at least 5 new ones on my machine.

if you dont remove one properly, it can keep downloading new spyware ad infinitum.

I mean, you are going to get some from time to time, but there are people at my job that have like 250 instances of spyware on their computers and noone here knows anything about their machines other than how to do their job. So I have to go run spybot and adaware on them. The higher that number goes, the more creeped out I get sitting at their desks. I started doing it VNC from my desk now.
