well, voting Conservative because of their policies whilst living in scotland would be a silly thing to do because it was said on the news the other night that the only policy that would happen up here would be their immigrant policy. all of their other views wouldnt take effect, theyd go through our parliament up here.
labour - id rather give tony's wife a kiss than give him a vote. he needs to drive past a grassy knoll sometime soon.
Lib dems - if we want the country to fall into further disrepair

edinburgh council has the great scheme of having people cutting about the city centre who can fine you if they see you dropping litter.
the absolutely STUPID thing is that they have got to be accompanied by at least 1 policeman/woman so they can issue the fine.

What is stupid is the "Edinburgh is not an ashtray" campaign... that underlines how bad it is to drop fag ends but makes no comment about wrappers, fast food containers etc etc... fucken nonsense. Fine any fucker caught littering £500 - if they can't / won't pay then they have to spend two weeks picking up litter in town.
