i do some contract work for a software development team that just mis-ordered 7 extra 20" apple displays for their developers
normally i think they sell for a grand, so was thinking i would knock off 50 bucks to sell
they have so much money, they literally don't mind eating the cost, and couldn't be arsed to sit on ebay to sell them ...
you would need to pay for shipping, but other than that, they are perfect and brand new
i am in Colorado, US, and should prolly, for ease, only try and do domestic shipping

they got em at a developers deal for 900, and enough people at least seem interested, so i guess i should just keep trying to get rid of them for about that
i am really not trying to make any reall money off of this, but i will earn myself one of the displays by getting rid of the others

i was told developers deal got them those monitors for about 900 a piece, and that they could not be returned since they were a developers deal - whatever that means legally
i will give up now

your client could got sucka-ed over by the sales person..
that does happen...
any large or for any deal to happen, you need to contact a middle man...
I think we all know that NT people are cheap (my self included) and wont pay anything at its full value.. or little discount..

i tried i guess
i just wanted to maybe hook some people up a teeny bit, while earning a new monitor for myself - i'm just gonna buy one from them now for myself and save the hundred since i'm not a partner and too ancient to be a student
i will ask them tomorrow what developers deal means again, and more details in general
maybe they got sucka-ed or just have a unique deal - they are buying a shit ton of those g5 servers for some enterprise wide dev solutions, so maybe apple gave them a unique thing
