I have no idea, a kid at work is testing on it, Slackware maybe?
I dunno he funks with them all, but I like them. I use OS X but didn't realize how many other features Linux has over Windows.

no one has tried longhorn the main features were not in any of the builds that got pirated. it's pointless to even try it untill beta 1 in a couple months which will show of avalon.

I would be more impressed if MS actually got Windows up to par with the other OSes on the market right now and add the eye candy later. I turn as much of the animation in OS X off as I can, it just isn't really that useful (except for exposé) There are more important things that they need to get up to speed on, and they definitely have the money to make that happen.

bah. ms should spend time on security and stability instead of useless shit graphics,
not one windows system can compare to linux or unix. windows is unstable, insecure and bloated.
our windows server crashes at least twice a week. our gentoo linux server has been online for 96 days without issue.
we are replacing our windows domain controllers with samba/ldap servers because of stability.
as for windows 64bit, the xp beta sucked. it was more unstable than normal xp.
what a waste. if ms cared about its kernel more than its stupid interface and goofy "media" shit they think people want, then they might make a decent system.

sparker, from what i've read, longhorn is being coded almost from the ground up to take care of the security issues and other bugs
