the pixel/bitmap typeface used ontop of the 1x1 color pixel typeface is called typographical error which is made by me in fontlab, i have started to make the 1x1 color pixel font in a diff application and i was demoing what each pixel means since its communicating in color.
you just showed me "your" pixel font you made which looks exactly like tahoma except mabe for the 3 and for some reason the 7 looks like its 9 px height. anyway read the thread next time.
- mevsthem0
p.s. i have tahoma installed on windows.

it'll be good to see it done

What colours are you planning on using for x and z?
(I haven't read full thread so apologies if someone else has asked similar).
Alos, you'll find different people have different ideas of what colours are named, eg. cmyk, rgb, grey, etc. no argument but you ask someone to describe 'aqua' or 'turqouise' or point them out on a colour chart you'll find a lot of difference in opinion of what 'colour' each colour is, perception and description of colour by name alone is very subjective.

the full version is tricky i did consider all those things you mentioned thats why the full version isn't complete but RGB and ROYGBIV typeface[s] are still usable even though they don't have every character there if you look at a 3x3 or 2x2 pixel fonts not all the characters are usable yet they contain some nice characters, if you take a look at the LFO album cover that uses the 3x3 pixel font that L, F, O characters are nice and usable when blown up.

i don't know how he was trying to help by showing me a replica of tahoma. tahoma has nothing to do with this thread.
- rasko40
sorry but it seems like a pointless exercise.
you're not creating a 1px typeface, you are simply creating a very simple visual code.
I began interested and ended up not. And you need to do something with that page if you are going to be asking people for crit, it is totally confusing to anyone who isn't you.
- mevsthem0
it is a 1 px font
if you look carefully u can see the 1px font the bigger sizes are scales of the font to show you what each color communicates.
- rasko40
so I guess its sans serif then?
It's not a font, it's a code, it requires people to learn new syntax to decipher it, and besides that, you need to enlarge it to see the colou.. err I mean 'font'.
no offence, I appreciate you experimentation.
