janne, I want to say that I've seen it before, too, but I have no proof. But that should be reason enough to not use it -- if it looks too familiar to people, it defeats the purpose of having a distinctive brand mark.

i agree. but this is barely a brand mark as it doesn't communicate at all at that level. besides it is not really a brand, it's solely an identity for a small delivering services rather then selling products, i am still working on the name. and the type as well.

the company is specialized in retouching alu-frames and metal in architectural structures. they use highly advanced techniques and material (such as powdercoating) for this. when their work is done it is invisible, hence the finesse and fairly low contrast on the logo.
