I saw them here in Minneapolis at First Avenue about the time the bombs started dropping in Iraq... very intense; the place was packed, people were very focused... in that atmosphere, the show seemed like a howl of protest.
They had about five projectors showing various industrial scenes - complemented the music well... Great, meaningful show.Have you checked out Dirty Three?

Just bought the Mogwai album: f#a# on vinyl. I'm enjoying it so far. Does anyone have it on MP3 to save me the trouble of recording it?
- Montgomery0
okay then.
- brains0

- brains0
I don't have it. Wish I did.
- Montgomery0
Ah, thats what I meant. Godspeed you black emperor, not mogwai. Sorry

i saw them at a sold-out Vogue theatre in vancouver just after they released Lift Yr. Skinny..
totally blown away. easily a top 5 live show EVER. my ears bled for weeks to follow.
and to this day i feel incredibly fortunate to have seen them live at arguabley the peak of their creative. it was retardedly cheap too... i think maybe like $8.
