ahhh.. .much better!!
but designerror is on to something... perhaps get rid of the 'design' all-together... orrrr... make it much less pronounced - maybe all caps but really really small under the 'etto'.

i think designerror hit the jackpot with the suggestion to remove 'design'. just 'etto' should do it. the url for the site can be etto design or something but the logo doesnt need to have that.
i say go with #3 and #4(with'etto' centered of course) depending on what background you are using. you can keep alternating between them depeding on where it's being used.
make a black&white logo too and finalize that first. colors come later.
the brown/blue combo looks good btw.

try designing the logotypes in black and white. It makes you concentrate more on the forms and design of the logo.
Also do some tests in different sizes.

Judging by your site/CV you are looking to get work at a design agency? If this is the case, why do you need a logo? just use your name, I just find it confusing that you need a logo at all. You said clean and minimal, then how about...

DesignerThe etto bit sounds fun and is an acknowledgement of your hertiage but shouldn't you be worrying about the most important thing, your work! it just seems like decoration.

I was thinking about using my name and I am still deciding but I really like "etto" because I would like to use it to strat my own company and didn't really want it to just be my name. And because I am going to change my name soon (marriage) and wasn't sure if I wanted to keep my last name or keep my husbands name which is TSIORBA and mine is BABENKO so I don't know maybe later on I will change it to his last name and stay with my name but I wanted poeple to recognize who I am by ETTO. So I guess since etto means: "this is" then it makes sence after I explain it to them what it means... so etto will be like "this is" LENA, graphic designer.
Well I will post my final decision on the logo and get rig of design and keep etto.
Do you guys think I should put maybe ETTO LENA instead of ETTO DESIGN?
comments on that would be great ly appreciated.

Etto Lena has more personality
but i think just keep Etto
it has a nice sound to it and stays with you.drop the design bit, you dont need to say that.

k here are some fianl changes... there 6 choices... let me know which one, I removed "design"
and changes some of the TT's see if you like them better that way of the way they were before..

i guess the bandage is just there to separate the logo from everything else... but I think I like 5 the most...
