well since you said "5.0" mustang that puts you in the same class as the mullet having camaroites! so that puts you from 79-95 for a 5 liter. Which, as we all know now, can get spanked by many imports these days! Plus, you seem to think that your "5 OH" will spank all 4 cyl imports, I would conclude that you could indeed have a mullet. I think he has a valid argument!

Oh dont get me wrong, I would love a mullet! And, For the last time, I have stroked, cammed and port/polshed the ports, and put a paxton on and done enough to too spool up well over 500 horses on the dyno, at the rear wheels. I only compare myself to a camaro because I feel thats the only true fair comparison, because they are in the same category as you said 2cent. Only, camaros seem to be favored by back water mullet sporting hicks. As for the four cylinder imports... if you can find one that would make more net horsepower or tourqe than my car, then please tell me, id like to know haha

Its not JUST about how much net horsePower your car has. Weight of your car is just as important. horsepower/weight ratio is very important. You could have 1000 hp but if you can't get it to the ground you'll still get beat! We've got a NA Mustang with 400 hp that runs 10 50's. whats your best time?

I can pull off mid to high 9 in high altidude any day. Simply put you cant even compare my car to an import. Im sorry but your welcome to bring anything to the table when you race me, your going down.
As for your land rover, 2cent thats going to take some work to overcome on a mountain. Im gonna need a transfercase, new front axle and some big old nubby tires... Now that would be a beast... hahaha

Theres always someone faster... but how much does your car weigh? 500 hp and a 9 something 1/4 does not add up! The new 05' vette z06 has 512 hp and weights 2800 lbs. and its not going to run 9's 10's or 11's. the fastest supercharged stange in the NMRA (real street class) runs 9 60s. I know for a fact they have over 600+ hp and are designed for drag racing, ie not really streatable. But anyway, I'm sure theres an import out there that will beat you.

don't forget to raise it a few inches too spiff... the run-off ditches can be a bitch some times.
