I would like to add that I'm not declaring that my work is exempted from my comments. I struggle with all the comments I made everyday. I look back at some work and I think "man, *I* can barely figure out how to use this" and other work makes me think "shit, this is so fucking boring, what was I thinking." But, I'm much better of for having put myself through the process.

it's very hard. Over the past 5 years I've learned little lessons the hard way.
If you ask snuggles, I had a very different opinion on U&A 5 years ago when we worked together.

good design is about form and its about function.

The 'saving bandwidth saves money' thing isnt always true.
For example on our site if we doubled our monthly transfer from 500GB to 1000GB we wouldnt pay any more for hosting. Halve it and we'd still pay the same...
