Does anyone know how to export a high quality PDF from Freehand MX in a MAC? And I also can't define the paper size for the PDF...

can you print to file? I use distiller so i'm not sure about freehand.
When I used to use freehand i would save it as an .eps and distill it.

Apple+Shift+R [ export ] choose PDF go to options for Hi Quality/which pages etc... It creates the PDF to whichever size the pages in freehand are... I do this ALL the time [ make sure images are jpegs tho ]

_me_, you must be talking about PC, not MAC. And I think that for a high quality PDF you have to use a PostScript file first and then use Distiller, but I just don't know how exactly....

Click > Print
Click > Setup: Acrobat Distiller
(Set the paper size up, res etc...)
Click > Printer
Click > Destination: select 'File'save to desktop
OK that
Click > Print
Drag file to distillerDistill and you have a pdf

print>check 'file' and not 'printer'>this saves a .ps file
use any postscript printer as your PPD, and use settings to set your page size (make sure it's big enough to contain cropping and reg marks).
select 'press' in distiller and drag the .ps file on it.

I do it from PC but i think that runs on a Mac...
Export teh Freehand file as a EPS with Tiff previsualization...
Then Open it on Acrobat Distiller and Destille it with teh configuration taht your work needs...
Embed all the fonts you used in the FH and set the resolution, color and size config that you need...
nomore!
