They need another cut, where the blocks start falling, taking out people, cars, trains etc.
- soda0
lush.

excellent.
Delta is living proof that graff can transcend the wall.

I disagree. I think it's very 2000... nothing new here...

very 2000?
lol!
you are being ironic.... right?
- Ekard0
no... it looks like something I would see 5 years ago... whats the big deal with it?
- clerk0
love it. reminds me a little of a piece made by pleix called 'sometimes'.
- Duane0
I can see that resemblance. I like it. The lighting and music are great.
- jackfoley0
Yeah, I kind of think its a rip off the pleix video too.
- scoops0
I agree with clerk, very chill... any one know what the music is?
- vburo0
that's so Delta indeed. Love it.
Love how he made all this random footage in the Netherlands and edited the shapes in so well, even with colorbalance/shadows and such.
brilliant.

yeah i'm not too crazy about it. the reason why it looks so 2000 is because of the overly deliberate us of 3D that was so big in 2000.
I kept waiting for something to happen, for the blocks to come together to actually build something (not just a logo). I thought it was very anti-climactic, and screamed "hey we know 3D and can composite with live footage!"
- Ekard0
I'll second that mogwai.
- vburo0
i totally disagree.
it's very much a Hollywood doctrine to be expecting a climax in every and all motion piece, which leaves very little space for a more atmospheric approach.
And this one certainly has this atmospheric touch.
i think it is one of the more interesting movies i have seen in the QBN Cinema so far.
And btw, apparently you guys do very little know about Delta, it's been his style and work for many many years.
it's like saying a Van Gogh is soo 1908..
- vburo0
"do know very little"
arrgh i need coffeee...
- clerk0
and he recently launched his new site.
- mogwai0
yes but is it a very hollywood doctrine to expect an idea behind an execution? a theme perhaps. i should not have to know the studio to get the work.
- vburo0
it depends.
this one resides more on the side of art then design or narrative creation.
where are you expecting a climax in the gates of christo for example?
but still, that's christo.
