Nice site and use of Flash skills. But as a client, I would never go to a "themed" firm like this mocking a classic movie. What's wrong with just showing the work, minus the gangtser mumbo jumbo?

sorry, i ment the music track on the video, which would be on the ford site... i wouldnt hunt down who did that video, then check if they got the rights...
i would leave that to them, so i can do my job.

derek, no one is questioning driftlabs legitimacy in this deal.
it's the company itself who's ethics are being questioned. in this profession, what they have allegedly done is illegal.

I can see that angle... You were hired to do the job and you did. You got paid and that was that.
BUT...
If someone contracted me and wanted a site done. Gave me all the assets and files and wanted Darth Vader to be the concept. I would HAVE to think to myself, did these people dlear this through Lucas Films? I mean, the thought has to cross your mind.

Opiate - I DID ask about the legitimacy and was ensured that it was all licensed and good.
Tara - Let's think for a sec... is it not possible that this company contracted 007 to create those sites and had an agreement that he could present them in his portfolio as well? Happens all the time.
Now, don't you people have work to do?
Oh, and just to show you how legit I like to be. I'm pressing the issue on the Brando image. If its not kosher, I'm going to slap something else in its place and demand it be put up.

of course it is possible but i know thast not what happened for at least one of the projects on there because i was working at another firm when we were working on it - liek i said thats why im a little ticked off about it
