We live/work in Clapham [south London] and it's perfect. Nice green spaces, bars, restaurants etc., and not a Hx-Fin in sight...

North London (Islington, Angel, Faringdon) is nice enough but mostly populated by advertising types with silly facial hair and a habit of going to the toilet a bit too regularly.

----------------------haha! london's like 5 seperate towns, each with it's own particular flavour of dross and patterns of drug use innit?
how've you been anyway mrming?

My mate lives in Battersea so I go there alot and I think it pretty good. Good cafe round the corner too, oh and the park is only a couple of minutes walk. Which is nice

SPYK - Myself and her indoors are thinking about buying a flat in Battersea next year.
vespa - The usual Xmas / NYE savagery, followed by January extreme poverty followed by Feb getting back on it too enthuastically and returning to poverty / aversion to caning it formula worked for me! What about yourself? Anything new and exciting to report?

haha mrming that sounds exactly the same as my past 2 months! i was considering stopping drinking etc completely but lasted 2 days last week before getting absolutely munted on the weekend and i swear i can't stand the self-loathing anymore...
new excitingness: going to vietnam in a month!
- mrming0
Wow - Vietnam! No need to take a camera - you can re-live the memories with regular flashbacks! ;-)

Or if you play a good shot at pool you can say you learnt that one in 'nam. The possibilities are endless - I'm tempted to go there myself!

What is Camberwell like near Brixton?
- rasko40
I haven't been there for a couple of years but that area can be pretty rough. Depends what you used to and what kind of stay you want to have.
- Tara0
ugh. that doesn't sound too good. i don't deal well with rough areas.
