Which part? It doesn't seem that bad. You've got such great feedback here Linchpin, most has already been said so I will agree or disagree.
Intro good or bad, I don't think you need it--I believe it only serves as a delay to the visitor who came to see your work.
You have pulled off the type pretty well with out using a screen font. I might suggest you consider a screen font; play around with it, see what happens.
I'm not a fan of the Linchpin Design Logo Type; BUT, with in it's context i.e. your site/work, it tries it's best; "There is no such thing as a bad typeface".
Scroll bar, please, scroll bar, don't need it; it would actually be the ONE most irritating detail. If you got rid of that, then I think designers everywhere would focus more on the site.
I won't bother, it's all been said, the site is good, the work is good, the creator seems to take critiques well; your sorted.
So when can we expect changes?

i first checked in Firefox..
now i checked Safari and the loading seems to take ages (in the work section), i think it is some preloading issue that Safari doesn't like.
You might want to look into that..

I cleared my cache in Safari, and went for the work section and did not experience any delay.

why would i need to clear my cache? it's the first time i visit that site with Safari...it'd be rather strange to have Safari users clear their cache before they can see any content?

Interesting. Ive noticed a few bugs too. Im working on tightening up the preload and scrolling issues. I also realize some type is getting lost in Flash. Youd think Macromedia would open its eyes and realize they need to develop a better rendering engine for Flash and typography. Cant believe they havent done it yet..

I cleared MY cache; because I had seen the site, and that would have effected the way the content loaded (time wise).

love the site.. some little tweaks would put it over the top for me..
1. a launch site button in your portfolio... with nice sites like that most people will wanna see a bit more...
2. some "ease" in the scrollbar in the portfolio.. so you can throw it round a bit.. not too much tho... that would look classy....

i like your work - great. i agree with comments to lose the intro animation - serves no purpose to me.
maybe tweak the layout/tighten it up a bit - possibly lose the horiz scrolling...
good stuff - keep it up.

not sure about horizontal scrolling but the overall feeling is tight and solid. good body of work.
