My load has failed.

I tried both of these frame scripts:
loadMovie("artists_enlarged.swf...and
artistsEnlarged.loadMovie("artis...
There is a movie clip on that frame named artistsEnlarged and a movie called artists_enlarged.swf in the same folder as the main movie. It's a big movie, but nothing happens ever.
Anything wrong or should I just forget the idea?

2. make sure your you have an empty holder clip and that is has the correct instance name.

to be more concise...
1. create an empty movie clip at the same frame that you are going to load the swf.
2. give that empty movie clip an instance name via the properties toolbar.
3. in your frame have:
myclipname.loadMovie("yadayada.s...

driftlab, I did all those things.
The movie clip had a shape in it, just so I could see it in my file, but that shouldn't matter.

It was a targetting issue within the loaded movie.
My load is now successful.
