So what does the company name mean? Cos the only definition I could find on dictionary.com is embloom = emblossom = to cover or adorn with blossoms, and that doesn't decribe your business at all (unless you're a flower company).
What you've shown us is not a logo, it's a combination of the logo and the logotype, plus a slogan. The logo itself is just the e in the rounded rectangle. But it doesn't say anything about your work. Anyone can draw a rounded rectangle in Illy and put an e in it. If I wanted someone who could do "superb new media," I wouldn't need to look at the logo, I'd just read your slogan.
The logo needs to *show* the client that you are capable of "superb" design, not just tell them.
Hope this helps! =)

I see your point. Because of the word "embloom" does not relate to graphic, media, creative or any other type media work I felt it was necessary to incorporate " Superb New Media Design" into the logo.As far transmitting "Superb New Media Design" into a logo design for "Embloom" that will take some creative thinking in my part :)

Exactly, Monk, exactly!
Good luck. =)

makes me think of sneakers too somehow..

the kerning seems a bit high for my taste. I probably would make the letters tighter... but that's just me.

the all caps bottom line makes it too crowded for me

i think embloom is a good name. makes me think of fresh pretty things blossoming and shit.

mirola,
Is that sarcasm?

i have to agree with bonseff.. lose the caps on the second line and you got yourself a purdy logo.
