Im a mac user but I need to format a PC hardrive and install windows xp on it, how do I go about this? Ive got XP but i dont know how to do any of that formatting hardr drive shit!

boot from the XP CD... One of the first options should be something about which drive to you want to install on... delete existing one and then it will say you have to format the drive before you can continue to install... It SHOULD be that simple.

just boot the pc with the xp cd, then you'll be asked if you'd like to format or not when installing.

Having just done this yesterday (mumblemumblefuckingcomputers) I second what Clear says.
Just ensure that you make a note of the CURRENT bios set up (access by hitting Delete on boot-up) before you make any changes. Then just change the order of the Boot Sequence - ie
1. CD-Rom
2. Floppy
3. IDEx
