got text message (i hate text messaging, why won't people just call...). says "hey it's dave, does this work?"
i know like 5 daves and i looked up their numbers but none of them match up with this text message number.
reply: "dave who?"
his response: "haha, saw you on divis (street name). not ringing bell?"
and....no. not ringing bell, AT ALL.
since it's costing me money every time i reply back, i'm wondering if i should just ignore (if he really wants to talk, he'll call, right?) or if i should reply back with some kind of fucked up message ("oh yeah, the one i gave BJ to, btw, you still owe me 80 bucks").
what should i do?

go to the comic book store on divisidero and i-can't-remember-the-cross-stree... and get me some new comics?
:D
He's not winning any points at this rate. he's being coy over text messaging. Not HOTTT.

oh yeah i know the store you mention. that's on divis @ page. yeah that store's hott. i go there like once in 2 weeks. the guy apprently doesn't care if people just read comic books w/out buying anything, either.
and no, this guy ain't winning anything. i do know one dave who lives on divis, but he's my client and wouldn't fuck with me like this.

I lived in S.F. before moving to Reno, though I go back when I can. Actually, I lived on T.I. when it was still a navy base.
Gonna try to go there one of these weekends when my friend's band plays a gig somewhere.

will you buy me coffee?
- nick0
nope. but i will write you more coy text messages using a common-name alias. would you like that?
- grafholic0
nick - no, no text messaging at all cost.
- grafholic0
i actually don't like phone conversation either.
i like long hand-written letters.
- blackspade0
txt is slightly less painfull in 'predictive' mode
- grafholic0
text is only good if my mouth is sealed "matrix" style and the receiver cannot hear and i must communicate somehow to someone long distance and neither of us have access to email.
- nick0
i'm sorry graf, all i can offer you is more txt messages.
i really hate talking on the phone.
- grafholic0
my communication preference:
1. inperson conversation
2. email
3. phone
4. text msg.unless i get those little keyboard thing that i can hook up to my phone and i don't have to pay for each messaging.
