where can i find the folder with the bookmarks for firefox. need to copy them over to a new mac

I just export from the manager like was said...
Cool Mozilla extension if you are interested:
bookmark synchronizer:
if you have web space you put your ftp info in there, saves XML file of your bookmarks so you can synchronize over multiple machines. I use it for work and my home and works great. Available on the mozilla extensions website.

I use it as well, but for some reason, it will only work if I browse with firefox on another machine. If I'm on IE or Safari, nada.

that kinda sucks, does it not? what if you're remote workstation isn't running firefox? And due to whack administration, you don't have access to install it.

I'm sure you can download the XML file and import manually to IE... Or convert it to something that works...
You can also run FF from a pen drive if that helps.

(Feb 3 05, 02:26)We don't have rights to install at work and I run FF, you can run it from your documents / desktop / whatever folder, just select custom install and choose the dir you want it in.
