:/ i cant decide what to do... i need a new machine for me -i have dual g5 at work too.. - i love my PB, but if i get the new PB some programs (like motion etc) only work on the g5 processor.

I've had that TrackPad thingie on my PB for so-oo long!

By the time the G5 'books are out, the towers will still be way faster. We'll be bitching about 'where are the G6 laptops?' at this time next year. Don't get so anxious.

fuck the powerbooks, i'm getting a 14" iBook.. much cheaper and the speed difference is not that big anymore...

did they get cheaper? the price for the 15" seems quite fair now (europe store).
I always thought they are a bit on the expensive side.

its not about the speed with ibooks mate... everything about the ibooks is cheaper..
alone the screens are way darker and crappier than the powerbooks. It is amazing how much difference there is between the PB and ibook screens.
