one of my print reps, who is a great guy has a friend who got in a motorcycle accident. he's an old school designer (40 sumthin) and works on his own. he suffered a head injury and has trouble getting work done.
from what my print rep said, when he has a few applications open at once, he gets confused and its too much..eventhough i never met the guy, i was thinkin of tellin my rep that i would help out pro bono. the designer has a family and things sound tough for him. hes not far gone or anything, but the recovery is gonna take time, and his clients may leave him if he lags.
would it sound crazy if i stepped up?

no, do it.

no question, do it. As much as you're willing to.

There's no real moral dillema here if you're ready, willing and able.
Go for it, you'll feel good and they'll appreciate it.

excellent idea, make sure you don't take on too much though otherwise you'll be overworked and stressed and may begin to resent him for making your life very though.
But good on you

Be honest with him though. That if he becomes a problem then it might change or something...
I've got a friend (graphic designer) who's going slowly blind - I wish someone would've given him a chance.

man, that is very impressive.
good luck and cheers.
as an added benefit it looks like you've got some good karma headed your way.

Help him get on his feet.
You'll be rewarded.

hmmm, it's very good of you to offer, just don't push it too much. These things are always a bit awkward and it's hard to know where peoples motive's come from, especially if he doesn't know what a stand up guy you seem to be.

Respect level increased.
Good man.
