The thing about rounded corners is that in a particular design context, they work. But to use them as a trick or gimmick is inexcusable, unless you're just trying to make a client happy.

i use inner shadows and little dotted pixel lines, the client and my CD fall for that everytime...

C'mon guys STOP!
yer giving away all my tricks!
It would make a good "how to" design book though...

hey dippy,
if you dont mind being a part of an experiment....put up the original work for the client....stow your good stuff away....
see if the big text, rounded corners, 3d drops, and radial gradient backgrounds get you a job......
at this point....if you do get a job....we should just all kill ourselves and save ourselves the agony of breathing....but on a happier note you will have a job :-)

i usually make my corners even pointer then i want them then when the client asks to make then rounder they turn out right.

It's a shame we have to tailor our work to suit superiors or clients, rather than for the user.

hahaha liquid! Yes, you guys will all be dead, but on the flip side, I'd be stuck with a stoopid job and my boss will force me to round all my corners ALL the time. And then I'll kill myself too. And the clients will rule the earth.

Blofeldt, that's the most intelligent thing I've read on NT in a while.
