no we were in the gulf of thailand below cambodia and vietnam area on an island called Koh Phangan

Yeah, some of my friends and family were in Sri Lanka but nothing happened to them.

we had a couple of friends who were on phi phi in thailand.
they were on a pier waiting for a boat and the pier starting dropping away with people on it. a big wave came and swept the people away.they ran towards shore and got swept into an internet cafe with water up to their necks. one of the women with them had a baby die in her arms. then dead bodies started floating by. sounds horrific

i don't know it's weird. you come back all chilled and everyone you know is all freaked out and so happy to see you. it's nice it's like people thought you were dead. but where we were it was so relaxed we weren't that tramatized by it. just felt lucky that we didn't decide to go that coast.
